Shankar Manian

Shankar Manian is an accomplished engineering leader with extensive experience in managing high-performing teams and developing large-scale data platforms. Currently serving as the Head of Engineering at Hevo Data since June 2025, Shankar previously held significant roles including India Site Lead at StarTree, and various engineering leadership positions at Stripe, Recko Inc., and Flipkart, where responsibilities included overseeing Financial Data Engineering. Earlier career highlights include leading the grid productivity team at LinkedIn and serving as Senior Software Development Manager at Microsoft India, where Shankar contributed to the Rich Ads Experience team and developed several scalable systems. Shankar began the professional journey at Lucent Technologies and holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Science from PSG College of Technology.
