Mark Bakker leads Global Operations for Hewlett Packard Enterprise, overseeing a global supply chain which ships 46 terabytes of storage and 4 servers every 60 seconds to customers around the world.

As General Manager, Mark is responsible for driving the strategic direction and execution of HPE’s complete quote-to-cash customer and partner experience. A transformational business leader, Mark’s mission is unlock enterprise value by optimizing the end-to-end value chain through digital transformation and operational excellence.

Prior to joining Hewlett Packard Enterprise in 2020, Mark spent more than 25 years with HP, most recently as the Head of America’s Supply Chain Operations. In that role, he oversaw a largely outsourced integrated supply chain for all personal systems and print products. He was also responsible for transforming the supply chain, resulting in significant cost reductions, improved efficiencies, and faster order turnaround to delivery. While at HP, he also led regional supply chain organizations in Europe, Asia and the Americas, as well as roles in customer experience operations.

Mark currently serves on the Executive Advisory Board for Blume Global.

The Intelligent Edge is the connection point from the physical to the digital world for people, devices, and the general internet-of-things ("IoT"). Financial Services ("FS") helps customers transition to and use HPE services by providing them with flexible solutions for leasing, IT consumption, technology deployment, and financing. Finally, HPE’s Corporate Investments and Other segment, which includes the Advisory and Professional Services ("A & PS") business, offers consultative-led services such as partner technology expertise, implementation services, and includes Hewlett Packard Labs, HPE’s research and development arm.
