Greg Deist has a strong background in engineering and project management. Greg started their career at BASF in 1990 as a Project Manager, and then moved on to work at Allied Signal Inc. as a Plant Engineer from 1996 to 1999. In 2000, they joined Ecolab as an Engineering and Maintenance Manager until 2004. From 2004 to 2011, Greg worked at Hexion Inc. as a Senior Project Manager, and later as the Global Director of Mechanical Integrity, Reliability & Projects. In 2019, they became the Director of Global Engineering at Hexion Inc., and currently holds the role as the Global Director of Engineering, leading a team of 50 technical professionals across the globe.
Greg Deist earned their Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign from 1986 to 1990. Later, between 2015 and 2017, they pursued a Master of Engineering in Engineering/Industrial Management at the University of Louisville.
