Karissa Mooney is an experienced professional in supply chain and product development with a strong background in the oil and asphalt industries. Currently serving as Director of Supply & Planning at HF Sinclair since October 2017, Karissa previously held the position of Director of Product Development for Specialty & Base Oils. Prior to joining HF Sinclair, Karissa worked at HollyFrontier Corporation as Product Development Manager, overseeing product development and quality for process oils, lubricants, and waxes from August 2013 to February 2021. Earlier in the career, Karissa was Sr. Manager of Technical Services at NuStar Asphalt, LLC, providing technical support for various asphalt products, and served as National Research and Quality Manager at NuStar Asphalt Refining, LLC. Karissa holds a Master of Engineering (M.Eng.) and a Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng.) in Civil and Environmental Engineering from the University of Rhode Island, completed in 1994 and 1989, respectively.
