Luke Nichols

Luke Nichols is an experienced Landscape Architect currently working at HGA since February 2022, following a role as Associate at Travis Van Liere Studio from July 2018 to February 2022. Prior experience includes serving as a Graduate Research Assistant for the Minneapolis Downtown Improvement District, where significant contributions were made to urban greening initiatives. Additional internships in landscape design occurred at Ting Song Library, Baoding Urban and Rural Design Academy, and Shanghai Construction Group, enhancing skills in design, community engagement, and project development. Nichols holds a Master's degree in Landscape Architecture from the University of Minnesota and a Bachelor's degree in Environmental Sciences from the same institution, further complemented by studies at Shanghai University of Finance and Economics and East China Normal University. Notable early career experience includes project management in the food sector and community engagement through AmeriCorps, demonstrating a commitment to collaboration and environmental stewardship.
