Elaine Mitchell

Elaine Mitchell is an experienced tax professional currently serving as International Tax Director at HID since July 2020, having previously held the position of International Tax Manager. Prior to HID, Elaine worked at Aspect Software as International Tax Manager, and at PricewaterhouseCoopers as Senior Manager on the Foreign Direct Investment team in Dublin's Tax Department. Additional experience includes roles as European Tax Manager at Alere, Inc. and Supply Chain Controller at Alere International Limited. Elaine has also contributed to the field as an Indirect Tax Lecturer at the Irish Taxation Institute and held positions such as Global Indirect Taxes Deputy Manager at Schneider Electric and Audit Senior at DHKN Chartered Accountants. Educational qualifications include a Taxation degree from the Irish Taxation Institute and an ACA in Accounting from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Ireland, supplemented by a Bachelor of Commerce in Taxation and Accounting from the University of Galway.
