Evonne Melendez

Evonne Melendez currently serves as the Associate Director of Sales at The Westin New York Grand Central since June 2022 and has held the title of Account Director. With over a decade of experience at Highgate Hotels/Hilton Sales Cluster, starting in July 2012 as the Director of Group Sales, Melendez also previously worked as the Corporate Group Director at The Roosevelt Hotel from August 2011 to July 2012. Earlier in the career, Melendez gained experience with Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide, Inc., specifically at Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin and W Hotels of New York City from February 2009 to August 2011. Educational background includes an Associate of Arts and Sciences degree in Hospitality Administration/Management from Monroe University (1990-1992) and academics from the Academy of Mt. St. Ursula (1986-1990).
