Jeff W. Smith, J.D. has a diverse work experience spanning several companies and roles. Jeff W. started their career as an Assistant District Attorney at the Collin County District Attorney's Office from 1986 to 1987. Jeff W. then worked at HighGround Advisors from 1990 to 1999, initially as an Associate Trust Counsel and later as a Vice President and Trust Counsel. In 1999, Jeff joined the Dallas Symphony Foundation as the Executive Director and Director of Planned Giving until 2000. Jeff W. then returned to HighGround Advisors in 2000, this time as the Vice President and General Counsel, a role they held until 2012. Since January 2013, Jeff has been serving as the President and CEO of HighGround Advisors.
Jeff W. Smith, J.D. obtained their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Commercial and Advertising Art from Baylor University, attending from 1980 to 1985. Jeff W. then pursued further education at Baylor University School of Law, where they earned their Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree in Law from 1986 to 1989.
