Sara Baker

Sara Baker, MA MFT, serves as the Executive Director of Human Resources at Highline Public Schools since August 2016, focusing on workforce planning to establish an anti-racist organization. Prior roles within the same organization include Director of Recruitment, Retention & Labor Relations and HR Partner, all aimed at promoting equity in educational leadership. Sara has extensive experience as a consultant for community organizations striving for educational equity, and previously worked with various educational institutions, including Portland Public Schools, implementing systems for college access and retention. Educational background includes a Master's in Marriage, Couple and Family Therapy from Lewis & Clark College and a Bachelor's in Psychology from Washington State University.
