Jonathan Steck has worked in a variety of roles in the software engineering field since 2009. In 2009, they worked as an Annual Giving Intern at Claremont McKenna College. From 2010 to 2012, they were a Summer Research Fellow at Claremont McKenna College, a Year-round Intern at NASA's Jet Propulsion Laboratory, and a Physics Tutor at Claremont McKenna College. In 2014, they were a Summer Intern at the Monterey Bay Aquarium Research Institute and a Capstone Project at UC Berkeley. From 2015 to 2020, they worked as a Software Engineer and Senior Software Engineer at Rakuten Marketing and KAYA Climb, respectively. Currently, they are a Senior Software Engineer at Highnote.
Jonathan Steck received a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Physics Math with the Scientific Modeling Sequence from Claremont McKenna College in 2013. Jonathan then went on to pursue a Master of Engineering (M.Eng.) in Mechanical Engineering from the University of California, Berkeley in 2015.
