King Lam

King Lam has over 20 years of work experience in the software engineering field. King is currently working at Highnote as a Principal Software Engineer since April 2023. Prior to that, from March 2022 to March 2023, they worked at Proper as a Distinguished Software Engineer.

From 2013 to 2022, King Lam worked at Marqeta, Inc. in various roles, including Sr. Principal Engineer, Principal Engineer, and Lead Software Engineer.

In 2013, they worked at Nominum as a Senior Platform Engineer, where they contributed to the development of Nominum's N2 Policy Manager using Java, Jackson jax-rs, RestEasy, Spring-JDBC, PostgresSQL, and Jetty.

From 2009 to 2013, King Lam was a Senior Software Engineer at IGN Entertainment, where they played a principal role in the architecture and development of a RESTful API and CMS platform for IGN videos.

King also has experience working at Official Payments Corporation as a Software Engineer from 2006 to 2009, and at Mercury Interactive/Hewlett Packard as an Application Engineer from 2004 to 2006.

King Lam started their career as a Software Engineer at Housing4Students in 2003.

King Lam attended the University of California, Davis from 1999 to 2003, where they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science and Engineering.
