Nicole (Sherman) Baraff is a seasoned entrepreneur and investor with extensive experience in technology and consumer sectors. As the Founder and CEO of HighView since June 2019, Nicole launched the world's first Student Accelerator program aimed at empowering high school students from low-income and first-generation backgrounds through mentorship and professional development. As Managing Partner of Lochlan Ventures LLC, Nicole focuses on early-stage investments in technology and consumer companies. Previously, at Ibotta, Inc., Nicole held multiple leadership roles, including Vice President of Mobile Commerce Partnerships and Retail Partnerships, where significant growth and market expansion were achieved. Earlier experience includes roles at PaySimple, TCV, and UBS Investment Bank, providing a strong foundation in business development, investment analysis, and partnership strategy. Nicole holds an A.B. in Economics, Finance, and French from Princeton University.

Together with our partner companies, HighView offers students exposure to promising career paths, along with 1:1 mentorship, social capital and professional development workshops that help set them up for lifelong success. Our forward-thinking partner companies help shrink historic achievement gaps while creating lucrative professional opportunities (and social mobility) for motivated students from under-resourced communities. Through our mentorship pairings and volunteer presenters, employees are able to make a tangible community impact in an ongoing manner, thereby increasing employee engagement & retention.
