Laura Sandys Cbe

Laura Sandys CBE currently serves as Chair of Sero and Green Alliance, and holds the position of Non Executive Director at SSE Transmission and Highview Power. In addition, Laura chairs the Government's Energy Digitalisation Taskforce and is the founder of the Food Foundation, where efforts focus on food insecurity and nutrition. As CEO of Challenging Ideas, Laura has published important reports on regulatory reform and is actively involved with POWERful Women, promoting women’s leadership in the energy sector. Laura's advisory roles include positions with Carbon Tracker and Imperial College London’s Carbon Capture and Storage Programme. Educationally, Laura holds a Master's Degree in International Relations from the University of Cambridge and an honorary degree in Engineering from London South Bank University.
