Kyle Sorrels

Kyle Sorrels is an experienced technology professional with a strong background in platform engineering and DevOps. Currently serving as the Director of Platform Engineering at Highway since July 2025, Kyle previously held positions such as Lead Platform Engineer at Boatsetter and Director of Cloud Excellence at Rocket Partners. Kyle's expertise includes leading global teams, establishing communication channels, and implementing AGILE/SCRUM methodologies to enhance software development lifecycles. A deep understanding of cloud migration, infrastructure operations, and systems development is demonstrated through prior roles at companies like Resolvit and Phase2. Kyle holds a degree from the University of Central Florida, obtained between 2009 and 2012.
