Karen Sardone is an experienced professional in environmental engineering and compliance, currently serving as Vice President of Compliance at Highwire since May 2017, where Karen has been instrumental in the company's development since its inception at Harvard University. Prior to this role, Karen spent over 18 years at Harvard University as a Senior Project Manager in the Environmental Health & Safety Department, where Karen established the first EHS Contractor Management Program. Earlier in their career, Karen worked as an Environmental Engineer at Bechtel Corporation, focusing on hazardous materials management for a significant infrastructure project in Boston. Karen holds a Master of Science in Environmental Engineering and a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering, both degrees from Tufts University.
