Artem Girzhev is an experienced marine engineering professional with a solid background in ship's power plant operation. Currently serving as Chief Engineer at Burgess since December 2023, Artem has previously held the position of First Engineer at Hill Robinson Yacht Management since February 2022. Prior roles include Second Engineer at Camper & Nicholsons from May 2019 to September 2020, and at Al Seer Marine from November 2015 to May 2019, along with a tenure as Second Engineer at Acromas Shipping Company from December 2013 to April 2015. Artem holds a Master's degree in Ship's Power Plant Operation from the State University of Technology and Infrastructure, earned between 2018 and 2020, and a Bachelor's degree in Ships' Power Plants Operation from the Odessa National Maritime Academy, completed in 2009.
