Verda Weston

Verda Weston has a diverse and extensive work experience in the healthcare industry. Verda started their career in 1991 at St. Jude Medical Center in the Medical Staff Services role, where they worked until 2007. In 2007, Verda joined Ardent Health Services as an Administrative Director and also took on the role of Director at Bailey Medical Center. Later in 2009, they became the Administrative Director of Case Management at Hillcrest Healthcare System, Utica Park Clinic. In 2012, Verda was promoted to Division Director at Hillcrest Healthcare System and eventually became the Director of Population Health Management in 2013. In this role, they successfully led a team to identify and manage high-risk patients, increase patient engagement in self-management, improve the quality of patient care services, and reduce healthcare costs. Verda also utilized their Lean Six Black Belt expertise to coordinate training for other healthcare team members.

Verda Weston, LSSBB, pursued their education with a focus on project management and Lean process review at Oklahoma City Community College. Verda completed their LSSBB degree in 2018. Prior to that, Verda attended Southwestern Oklahoma State University, where they worked towards a Bachelor of Science degree in Health Information/Medical Records Administration/Administration.
