Hiller Measurements
Ed Crean is an experienced RF Engineer with a robust background in designing and developing advanced RF instruments and systems. Currently serving as the Principal RF Engineer at Hiller Measurements since June 2011, Ed has been instrumental in creating ultra-low phase noise synthesizers, low noise upconverters, PXIe-based low noise clocks, frequency references, and high power amplifiers. Prior to this role, Ed worked at Symtx as a Senior RF Engineer, focusing on PXIe-based RF instruments and low phase noise synthesizers. Ed's experience includes overseeing the development of GSM power amplifiers at Nokia and serving as Group Leader at Nokia Networks. Ed's career began at Texas Instruments, and academic qualifications include a Master of Science in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Texas Tech University and a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University at Buffalo.
