James Tambur is an experienced engineering professional with a strong background in hardware and systems design. Currently serving as a System Engineer at Hiller Measurements since February 2020, James leads the design of RF and digital signal test sets for defense applications and provides PCB design support. Previous roles include Senior Hardware Engineer positions at Carnegie Technologies and Hiller Measurements, where responsibilities involved schematic capture, FPGA design, and testing of satellite terminals and traffic detectors. James has also contributed as a Senior Hardware Engineer at AAI Corporation, focusing on custom test set design, and held positions at Tellabs and Texas Instruments, specializing in cost reduction projects and software systems analysis. Educational credentials include a Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering from The University of Texas at Arlington and a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from New Mexico State University.
