About the role:

We are looking for a motivated individual to join our IT Operations team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing support across all internal operational systems, and infrastructure (excluding Product-related technologies). Your responsibilities will also see you actively supporting corporate security initiatives.

How you will add value:

  • Provision of Level 1 and 2 Helpdesk support to our staff across multiple sites in accordance with service standards. Support channels include Slack, email, remote access, in-person and the hipages support ticketing system.
  • Log, prioritize, and track support requests in a ticketing system, ensuring timely resolution and escalation of issues when needed.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network-related problems for desktops, laptops, and mobile devices.
  • Assist with IT operations tasks, including system upgrades, patch management, and software installations.
  • Review assessment reports to remediate potential vulnerabilities.
  • Engage with third-party vendors for IT and security support issues.
  • Set up new computers/laptops, mobile phones & desk phones.
  • Monitor network traffic and system logs to detect and respond to security incidents promptly.
  • Maintaining user access controls, and ensuring appropriate levels of permissions are granted and maintained.
  • Establishing and maintaining users on hipages’ (Identity Provider) IdP’s.
  • Document operations and security processes as required.
  • The successful candidate would be required to work after hours including providing weekend support ad-hoc based on business needs. 

About you:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
  • An understanding of ITIL fundamentals.
  • Strong knowledge of IT systems, and networking practices including cabling, IP addressing and troubleshooting.
  • Online Meetings and Meeting room management, preferably Zoom environment.
  • Experience in Google Workspace applications.
  • Proactive, reliable and organised individual with an end user-focused approach.
  • Strong track record of taking personal responsibility for the completion of assigned work.
  • An understanding of IT security principles, including user access management. Knowledge of log analysis would be a plus.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to quickly identify and resolve operational issues.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to effectively convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
