Jim Sheaves

Jim Sheaves is an experienced Piping/Mechanical Designer currently working at Hipp Engineering since 2014, specializing in piping design for utility and process systems in the Pharmaceutical Industry using AutoCAD and Revit. Prior roles include Field Verification Engineer at Bahnson Mechanical Specialties, where responsibilities involved ensuring accuracy in plant P&IDs, and Engineering Aide at Green Engineering Inc., focusing on the design of water and wastewater treatment plants. Additional experience encompasses technical management at Solid Solutions of Clayton, mechanical design roles at Newton Instrument Company and Green Engineering Inc., and lead mechanical design at Stanco Projects, Inc. Jim Sheaves also held mechanical and piping design positions at Black & Veatch, Ajinomoto USA, and Novo Biochemical Industries, contributing to various projects throughout a career that began after education at Central Carolina Technical College.
