Amy Barwick has a diverse work experience in the field of human resources. Amy started their career at the Upper Eagle Valley Consolidated Sanitation District as a Human Resources Administrator from July 1993 to May 1994. Amy then joined Vectra Bank Colorado in February 1995, where they held various positions including Assistant Vice President of Human Resources and Vice President - Branch/Sales Manager. During their time at Vectra Bank, they created and managed a new Human Resources department for Pitkin County Bank, expanded the HR function to other branches, and retained HR responsibilities during mergers and changes in leadership. In July 2000, they joined Pitkin County as the HR/Risk Management Director until September 2005. Amy then joined HIRED in February 2005 as the HR Director, overseeing recruitment, employee relations, compensation programs, and strategic planning.
Amy Barwick earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business with a focus on Personnel Management from the University of Colorado Boulder - Leeds School of Business in 1978.
