Daniel Williams

Daniel Williams is a highly experienced internal audit professional currently serving as the Group Chief Internal Auditor at Hiscox since March 2025, where responsibilities include delivering the Internal Audit strategy and ensuring compliance with audit standards. Prior to this role, Daniel held the position of Global Head of Internal Audit at IG from October 2015 to February 2025, overseeing the global delivery of audit services. Experience also includes serving as Head of Internal Audit for EMEA at GFI Group, where operations across multiple regions were reviewed, and as Head of Internal Audit at MF Global, managing a team across several offices in Europe and Asia-Pacific. Earlier experience includes a position as an Audit Manager at Deloitte, providing assurance services to financial institutions. Daniel holds a Bachelor of Arts in Mathematics from the University of Oxford.
