Paul Yoon has a strong background in advocating for scholars and providing counseling services. Paul started their career at Korean American Family Services (KFAM) as an MFT Trainee in 2009, and later became a Clinical Counselor in 2011. In 2017, they transitioned to the Hispanic Scholarship Fund, where they held various roles including Scholar Advocate, Director of Scholar Advocacy, Vice President of Scholar Advocacy, and currently serves as the Senior Vice President of Scholar Advocacy.
Paul Yoon has a Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Marital and Family Therapy from Fuller Theological Seminary. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Psychology from Biola University. In terms of certifications, Paul has completed Crisis Oriented Recovery Services (CORS) and Seeking Safety programs through the Los Angeles County Department of Mental Health. Paul has also obtained certifications in Triple P (Positive Parenting Program) - Level 2 and 3 from The University of Queensland.
