Andy Gibb has extensive experience in finance and auditing. Andy started their career as an Audit Manager at Scott-Moncrieff in 2001, where they stayed until 2008. After that, they joined the British Red Cross as the Head of Corporate Finance from 2009 to 2018. Currently, Gibb is the Head of Finance at Historic Environment Scotland starting from May 2018.
Andy Gibb obtained a Bachelor's degree in Accounting and Finance from the University of Dundee, where they attended from 1997 to 2001.

Historic Environment Scotland (Sa Gàidhlig: Àrainneachd Eachdraidheil Alba) is Scotland's public body working to ensure Scotland's history and heritage makes a real difference to people’s lives. We care for more than 300 properties of national importance, drawing more than 3 million visitors per year. We look after internationally significant collections including over five million drawings, manuscripts and images of Scotland, along with one of the largest collections of aerial imagery in the world.
