Glyn Beech has extensive experience in health, safety, and environment management, with a background in working for various organizations including Historic Environment Scotland, Applus+ RTD, The James Hutton Institute, Webhelp UK, and Nelson Safety. Glyn has a strong track record of leading teams responsible for ensuring the safety and wellbeing of staff and visitors in challenging environments such as historic sites, power stations, and contact centers. Prior to working in health and safety management roles, Glyn served as a Chief Petty Officer in the Royal Navy Submarines as a Weapons Engineer.

Historic Environment Scotland (Sa Gàidhlig: Àrainneachd Eachdraidheil Alba) is Scotland's public body working to ensure Scotland's history and heritage makes a real difference to people’s lives. We care for more than 300 properties of national importance, drawing more than 3 million visitors per year. We look after internationally significant collections including over five million drawings, manuscripts and images of Scotland, along with one of the largest collections of aerial imagery in the world.
