Yixin Shi

Yixin Shi is a software engineer with extensive experience in software development and engineering internships. Currently employed at HistoSonics, Inc. since October 2024, Yixin is involved in creating a multi-threaded Send/Receive application for communication between medical robots and clinician software. Previously, Yixin worked as a software engineer intern at Amazon, developing the AlexaCalendarSyncService for over 8 million users, and completed another internship at HistoSonics, Inc. as a software engineer intern. Yixin also served as a Graduate Student Instructor for Database Systems at the University of Michigan and gained experience at Huawei, contributing to the development of a data pipeline for predicting the quality of service in cloud systems. Yixin holds a Master of Science in Computer Science and Engineering and two bachelor's degrees—one in Computer Science from the University of Michigan and another in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Shanghai Jiao Tong University.
