Michael Berger

Michael Berger has a diverse work experience in key account management and business development roles. Michael is currently the Director of Business Development Europe at Hiya Inc. Prior to this, they served as the Director of Business Development DACH at the same company.

Before joining Hiya Inc., Michael worked at Sony Europe B.V. as the Global Account Director Customer Unit Deutsche Telekom & BuyIn. In this role, they were responsible for supervising operational activities for all Deutsche Telekom national companies in Europe and managing the strategic development of the Deutsche Telekom account. Michael also managed the P&L for the organization and supervised key account teams and product management.

Prior to their role at Sony Europe B.V., Michael served as the Account Director GCU Telekom & Deutsche Telekom at Sony Mobile Communications. Here, they oversaw operational activities for all Deutsche Telekom national companies in Europe and handled strategic development for the Deutsche Telekom account. Michael also managed the P&L and supervised key account teams and product management.

Earlier in their career, Michael worked at Motorola Mobility as the Key Account Director. Michael provided guidance to sales managers and played a key role in achieving net sales and margin objectives for the German, Austrian, and Dutch entity.

Before joining Motorola Mobility, Michael held various roles at Motorola Mobile Devices, including Senior Key Account Manager for Telefónica o2 Germany, E-Plus Germany; Key Account Manager for T-Mobile Germany and Austria; and Account Marketing Manager for T-Mobile Germany, Netherlands, and Austria.

Overall, Michael Berger has accumulated extensive experience in key account management, business development, and operational activities in the telecommunications industry.

Michael Berger completed an Executive Master of Business Administration (EMBA) at ESSEC Business School in 2009-2010. Michael also obtained another EMBA degree with a specialization in Business Administration from Mannheim Business School during the same period. In 1999-2004, they graduated with a Diploma in Economics & Business Administration from Leibniz Universität Hannover. Additionally, they participated in an exchange program at Maastricht University in 2001-2002, studying Economics and Business Administration. Lastly, they completed a course called "The Complete Skilled Negotiator" in Negotiations at The GAP Partnership, although the start and end dates for this course are not provided.
