Angela Ramer

Angela Ramer is a Design Anthropologist and Senior Consultant at HKS, where responsibilities include conducting ethnographic research and facilitating leadership alignment to support strategic planning and design across various sectors such as healthcare, education, and entertainment. Previous experience includes serving as a Graduate Teaching Assistant at the University of North Texas, providing academic support for anthropology courses, and working as a Research and Cultural Consultant at Gensler, where Angela assisted design teams in consumer behavior and market research. Earlier roles include a Clinical Research Fellow at the National Institutes of Health, focusing on sleep deprivation and obesity studies, and a Health Assessment Research Intern with the NC State Commission of Indian Affairs, where fieldwork involved assessing healthcare access in rural American Indian communities. Angela holds a Master of Science in Applied Anthropology from the University of North Texas and a Bachelor's degree in Anthropology & International Studies from Elon University, supplemented by continuing education in Infectious Diseases at the National Institutes of Health.
