Lionel Hong

Lionel Hong is an experienced IT professional with a robust background in systems engineering and management within the defense and technology sectors. Currently serving as IT Manager at HME since January 2022, Lionel previously held the position of Senior Systems Engineer at Booz Allen Hamilton, where responsibilities included engineering services for NAVWAR and ensuring compliance with NIST standards. Prior roles span across major firms such as CALNET, L3 Technologies, and TechTeam Government Solutions, focusing on network design, virtualization, security, and compliance. Lionel holds a Master of Science in Cybersecurity from the University of San Diego and a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from Loyola University Chicago.
