George Mathews

George Mathews is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in IT incident management, business continuity, and information technology education. Currently serving as a Senior Architect for IT Incident Management at enGen since 2016, George has significantly enhanced IT capabilities at Highmark Health, improving communication processes during disruptive events. In addition to full-time roles, George has been an adjunct faculty member at several institutions, teaching courses in cybersecurity, computer security, and business continuity. Prior to enGen, George held key positions at Highmark Health, where responsibilities included redesigning the Emergency Operations Center and streamlining procedures across response teams. George's earlier career includes various roles in business continuity and information security across multiple organizations. Educational qualifications include an M.B.A. from the University of Pittsburgh and a BS in MIS/Accounting from Robert Morris University.
