Melanie S.

Melanie S. is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in public service, currently serving as the Head of Private Office and Tax Strategist at HM Revenue & Customs since December 2020. Prior to this role, Melanie held key positions at the UK Home Office, including Police Pay and Conditions Policy Lead, where responsibilities involved leading pay reform initiatives for police officers and working closely with policing partners. Additional experience includes serving as a Ministerial Private Secretary at the Department for Work and Pensions, where the role involved advising Ministers and managing a ministerial team, and positions as a Policy Analyst and Caseworker at the UK Home Office and the Parliamentary and Health Service Ombudsman, respectively.
