Karen Hapner

Karen Hapner has over two decades of experience in visualization design and product management. Karen currently works at HNI Corporation as a Visualization Design Lead, where they lead and mentors a team while also actively researching, designing, and creating visual storytelling assets. Karen collaborates with various departments from product development to marketing to sales. Prior to their current role, Karen worked at Herman Miller, Inc. for several years, specializing in healthcare design and brand marketing. Karen designed architectural renderings, animations, and VR experiences, and created custom workplace visualization assets. Karen also has experience in software development and team leadership.

Karen Hapner obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree from Western Michigan University. In 2011, they also obtained a certification from Herman Miller in PEAK.
