Karan Anand has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Karan is currently serving as the Chief Strategy Officer and Managing Director for Hnry, where they are responsible for managing the overall strategic direction, brand, customer relationships, partnerships, and team in the Australian market. Prior to this, Karan was a Director in Deloitte's Strategy Consulting Practice, specializing in assisting financial services clients with strategic problem-solving and digital disruption management. Karan also co-founded and served as CEO of VVV Associates, a company they led for seven years. In addition, Karan has held advisory board positions at organizations such as the Young Sikh Professionals Network and Macquarie University, where they contributed to the development and growth of various initiatives. Karan has also been actively involved in the Australia India Youth Dialogue and served as the Chair, leading a team in organizing annual dialogues between young leaders from Australia and India. Karan's early work experience includes roles as a Senior Consultant at The LiTMUS Group and as a summer intern at Territory Insurance Office and Westpac. Throughout their career, Karan has demonstrated expertise in strategy development, digital transformation, and leadership.
Karan Anand completed their education at several institutions. Karan attended Darwin High School from 2000 to 2004, where they obtained their high school diploma. Following this, they pursued a Bachelor of Commerce degree with a concentration in Actuarial Studies and Finance at the University of New South Wales (UNSW) from 2005 to 2007. Continuing their education, Karan Anand then pursued a Master of Finance degree at UNSW from 2008 to 2011.
