Thorsten then joined Coca-Cola Erfrischungsgetränke AG in 2003 as a Project Manager and Packaging Specialist. In 2004, they became a Plant Manager at the same company. Thorsten further advanced their career by becoming the Managing Director and Technical Director at Rhein-Main-Sieg Getränke GmbH (Coca-Cola) from 2006 to 2009. Thorsten then took on a role as the Functional Lead Manufacturing at Coca-Cola Erfrischungsgetränke AG from 2009 to 2011. Thorsten then joined Refresco Deutschland in 2011 as the Manufacturing Director Germany. Their most recent role is as the Chief Operating Officer at Hochwald Foods GmbH, a position they have held since August 2017.
