Magnus Koren

Magnus Koren is a Senior Analyst in Business Development at Höegh LNG, where since November 2022, Koren has contributed to the company’s leadership in floating storage and regasification units. Prior to this role, Koren served as a Seniorrådgiver at Nærings- og fiskeridepartementet, focusing on budget, management, and capital instruments from May 2021 to November 2022. Earlier experience includes positions as a Market/Finance Analyst at Höegh LNG, Advisor and Senior Advisor with the Norwegian Armed Forces, and Financial Journalist at E24.no. Koren's academic qualifications include an MSc in European Political Economy from The London School of Economics, an Executive Master in Energy Management from BI Norwegian Business School, and dual BA degrees in Comparative Politics, Political Economy, and Russian and Spanish from the University of Bergen.
