Walid Darwish

Walid Darwish is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in business development and management within the energy and telecommunications sectors. Currently serving as General Manager for Egypt and Business Development Director for the Middle East at Höegh LNG since June 2015, Walid has previously held significant roles at Shell, including Upstream Senior Commercial Advisor and Africa Mining Lubricants Sales Manager, where responsibilities included managing upstream business growth and optimizing portfolios. Earlier career milestones include a role as Retail Operations Senior Supervisor at Etisalat Misr, where Walid successfully oversaw the expansion of flagship stores. Walid holds a B.A. in Business Administration from Helwan University and has a foundational education from Lycee Horreya De Maadi.
