William Dickerson

William Dickerson is an experienced writer and director currently serving as the Academic Department Director for Screenwriting and On Camera Performance at AMDA College and Conservatory of the Performing Arts, and as an Adjunct Assistant Professor of Radio, Television, Film at Hofstra University. With a comprehensive background in filmmaking, Dickerson has directed several feature films, including "No Alternative," a coming-of-age drama set in the grunge era, "Don't Look Back," which explores the life of a children’s book writer confronting her past, and "The Mirror," a metafictional satire. Additionally, Dickerson's film "Detour" presents a survival story against nature's odds. Academically, Dickerson holds an M.F.A. in Directing from The American Film Institute and a B.A. in English from the College of the Holy Cross.
