Ellen Ignacio

Ellen Ignacio is a seasoned professional in architectural and laboratory design, currently serving as a Senior Associate and Senior Lab Planner at HOK since January 2016. With expertise in laboratory design, planning and feasibility analysis, and construction administration, Ellen has effectively coordinated various projects. As the owner of e.ignacio design since January 2013, Ellen offers residential design, graphic design, and master planning services. Previous experience includes roles as a BIM Specialist/Designer at Barnett Consulting Engineers and a Laboratory Designer at Lord Aeck Sargent, where skills in CAD, BIM, and LEED certification were developed. Ellen began the career as an intern architect at Niles Bolton Associates and Tippett Clepper Associates after obtaining a Master of Architecture from the Georgia Institute of Technology and a Bachelor of Arts in Religious Studies with a minor in Urban Planning from the University of Virginia.
