Chris Allington is the Chief Executive Officer of Holmes Solutions LP, a company specializing in the design, development, and testing of innovative engineering products across various industries. With experience at Holmes Consulting Group as a Senior Project Engineer, Chris delivered engineering design solutions focusing on seismic responses, notably leading the seismic design of the $150 million Christchurch Woman's Hospital. Additionally, Chris served as a Senior Lecturing Fellow in the Department of Civil Engineering at the University of Canterbury, teaching Engineering Design and Engineering Materials while overseeing commercial testing activities. Chris holds a PhD in Civil Engineering and a B.E (Hons) in Civil Engineering, both from the University of Canterbury.
