Michael Luzier

Michael Luzier has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Michael began their career at Maryland DNR as an Environmental Planner in 1982 before moving on to NAHB in 1984. At NAHB, they served as a Senior Vice President until 2003 when they joined Home Innovation Research Labs as President & CEO.

Michael Luzier obtained a Bachelor's degree in Political Science and Government from Virginia Tech. Following this, they pursued a Master's degree in Environmental Planning from the University of Pennsylvania, which they completed in 1981.

Home Innovation Research Labs (formerly the NAHB Research Center), located in Upper Marlboro, Md., is a full-service research, testing, and consulting firm determined to improve the quality, durability, affordability, and environmental performance of single- and multifamily homes and home building products – in short, we aim to perfect the home.
