Emily Phillips Longley is a Data Engineer at Home Solutions, a position held since April 2023. Prior to this role, Emily served as a Graduate Student Researcher at Duke University from September 2016 to April 2023, focusing on the Catalog-to-Cosmology Analysis of Stage III Cosmic Shear Surveys. Emily has also worked as a Researcher at SLAC National Accelerator Laboratory and held the position of Vice President of the Graduate & Professional Students Council at Duke University, overseeing the internal affairs for approximately 9,000 graduate and professional students. Earlier research experience includes working as a Physics IREU Researcher at the University of Glasgow, an Astrophysics REU Researcher at the Maria Mitchell Association, and an Astrophysics Research Assistant at Carleton College. Emily holds a PhD and a Master's degree in Physics from Duke University, as well as a Bachelor of Arts in Physics from Carleton College.
