Robert Machado has extensive experience in the property management industry. Robert is currently working as the Vice President of Acquisitions at HomeRiver Group since 2019. Prior to this, they held the same position at HomeRiver Group California Property Management, where they served as Division Leader and Stockholder. In this role, they led the company's offices in Northern California as broker of record and Responsible Managing Owner of the contracting division. Robert also worked as the owner of HomeRiver Group California Property Management from 1983 to 2017. In addition, Robert served as the Past President of the National Association of Property Managers from 1996 to 1997.

Robert Machado received their high school diploma from John F. Kennedy High School in 1972. Robert then attended Sacramento City College from 1972 to 1974, where they earned an Associate of Arts and Sciences (A.A.S.) degree in Accounting and Business/Management. Following their time at Sacramento City College, they went on to study at the University of California, Berkeley from 1974 to 1977, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Economics.
