Tom Doruska

Tom Doruska is an accomplished actuary with extensive experience in the insurance industry. Currently serving as Senior Vice President and Chief Actuary at Homesteaders Life Company since May 2021, Tom has previously held significant roles including Senior Vice President at Global Atlantic, where responsibilities included leading competitive intelligence, design, pricing, and development of retail life insurance products. Prior experience also includes positions as VP of Life Products at Aviva USA, Director at Principal Financial Group, and Assistant Vice President at ING, specializing in life insurance, annuities, and product development. Tom holds a BSBA in Actuarial Science from Drake University.
