William Lo

William Lo is a seasoned journalist with extensive experience in investigative reporting and news management. Currently serving as Deputy Assignment Editor at HK01 since August 2016, William co-manages an investigative reporting team and local news team, overseeing various high-profile projects such as the Anti-Extradition Law Protest and the ICIJ-related Panama Papers. Additionally, William is a part-time lecturer at Hong Kong Baptist University, teaching courses on investigative reporting and Chinese news writing. Previous roles include Senior Reporter at Sing Tao Daily, where investigative and feature stories on social and political trends were covered, and reporter positions at Hong Kong Economic Times and as a freelance reporter assisting foreign media. William holds a Master of Arts in International Journalism Studies from Hong Kong Baptist University and a Bachelor of Arts in English from South China Agricultural University.
