William Cheng has extensive work experience in the finance industry. William started their career at Cathay Pacific Airways in 1995, where they worked in the finance department for 17 years. In 2012, they joined Taikoo Engine Services (Xiamen) Co Ltd as the General Manager of Finance, overseeing finance, HR, and IT functions until 2017. From 2018 to 2023, they served as the Chief Financial Officer at Damin Foodstuff (Zhangzhou) Co. Ltd, a leading tea and natural plant extracts manufacturer. In 2023, they became the Chief Financial Officer at HK Express.
William Cheng completed a Global MBA at The University of Manchester from 2016 to 2018. Prior to that, they pursued a Master of Corporate Finance at The Hong Kong Polytechnic University from 2004 to 2006. Their education journey began at Deakin University, where they focused on Accounting and Finance from 1989 to 1993.
