Michael Hollis

Michael Hollis has worked in the theatre industry since 2012. Michael began their career as a Production Intern at Generations: A Theatre Company in 2012. In 2013, they worked as a Producer for Rice Player, where they were responsible for recruiting directors, designers, and support staff, managing the goals and responsibilities of production team, keeping track of expenses and ticket revenue, and completing extraneous tasks. Michael also worked as an Intern for Texas Nonprofit Theatres, Inc., where they established an effective layout for Costume and Prop storage, researched new plays and wrote reports on their strengths and weaknesses, taught a Spoken Word class, designed sound for a production, prepared infographic presentations, and taught classes to local children. In 2015, they worked as Front of House Staff at Pantages Theatre, helping to create a seamless theatre-going experience with top-notch Customer Service by providing directions, instructions, and assistance to theatre patrons. Since 2016, they have worked at HONK Technologies, where they have held the roles of Product Analyst, Analyst, Towing & Roadside, Customer Experience Manager, and Experience & Quality Supervisor.

Michael Hollis completed their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) at Rice University from 2010 to 2014, majoring in Visual and Performing Arts and Linguistics.
