Brenda Schildknecht-Hargett

Brenda Schildknecht-Hargett, Ed.D., is an accomplished educator with extensive experience in thanatology and social sciences. Since 2010, Brenda has served as the Director of the Graduate Thanatology Program at Hood College, where responsibilities include promoting the thanatology certificate and managing administrative activities for the program. In addition to this role, Brenda is an Adjunct Faculty member at Hood College, creating and teaching courses in general psychology and career counseling. Brenda also holds the position of Adjunct Professor at the University of Maryland University College, teaching online and hybrid social sciences courses, and has served as Master Adjunct Faculty at Frederick Community College since 2007, developing courses in various social science disciplines. Brenda's academic background includes a Doctor of Education in Counseling Psychology from Argosy University and a Master of Science in Human Sciences from Hood College.
