Sarangan Ravichandran

Sarangan Ravichandran, PhD, PMP, currently serves as a Senior AI/ML Data Scientist Lead at Leidos, focusing on advanced healthcare projects under the Advanced Research Projects Agency for Health (ARPA-H). In this role, Sarangan leads real-world evidence drug repurposing research and develops natural language processing methods for clinical data analysis. With extensive experience in bioinformatics and data science from previous positions at Leidos Biomedical Research, Inc., and SAIC, Sarangan has contributed to multiple biomedical projects and collaborated with various health organizations. Additionally, Sarangan holds an adjunct faculty position at Hood College, teaching courses in computational genomics and bioinformatics, and has a strong educational background with a Ph.D. from the Indian Institute of Science and ongoing further studies in artificial intelligence and data analytics through various Udacity programs.
