Cary Hudson

Cary Hudson, CPA, currently serves as Vice President & Corporate Controller at Hooters of America since December 2021. Prior to this role, Cary held the position of Controller at Krystal Restaurants LLC and served as CFO at AES Restaurant Group, overseeing significant growth during multiple mergers and acquisitions that expanded the restaurant count from 12 to 72 locations with annual revenues exceeding $80 million. Additionally, Cary founded Ashworth Accounting Services, LLC, providing accounting services for small businesses in the restaurant and retail sectors. Previous experience includes roles as Accounting Manager at Arby's Restaurant Group and Fixed Asset Manager at RTM Restaurant Group, along with early management responsibilities as General Manager at Garcia's/Flying Tomato Pizza in Pan. Cary holds a Master's degree in Professional Accountancy from Indiana University Indianapolis and a Bachelor's degree in History/Political Science from Ball State University.
